OUR TEAM

Jenni Au Lallier JENNI AU LALLIER
Founder and Director

Jenni Au Lallier is the Founder and Director of Adoptee Mentor Program, San Francisco's first International Adoptee Mentoring Program started by and for all international adoptees. She is a Korean adoptee, born in Inchon in 1977, and survived her first year with a foster mother. At the age of 1 Jenni was adopted by Chinese American parents and raised as an only child in Honolulu, Hawai'i.

The inspiration for AMP began when Jenni befriended an international adoptee while working at Clorox. While Jenni had always felt constant support and love from her family and friends, she found this relationship to be uniquely fulfilling. Through this friendship she was introduced to many other international adoptees and has found these connections invaluable in validating her feelings, emotions and questions around the experience of being an international adoptee. She became inspired to help young international adoptees connect with adult international adoptees so they could experience this connection and support at a younger age. Jenni hopes AMP will be a way for international adoptees and their families to connect, share their experience and support one another.

Prior to starting AMP, Jenni was a Marketing Associate in Brand Management at The Clorox Company. She also gained financial market exposure as a Junior Associate in Equity Research at Morgan Stanley. Jenni holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Washington and is a member of the 1997 and 1998 NCAA National Championship Women’s Crew Team.

Throughout her post-college years Jenni has maintained close involvement with local non profits and has volunteered for causes that resonate with her passions, including Girls on the Run, Junior Achievement, and The Junior League.

Cindy Feng VICTORIA BRUNO
Advisory Board Member

Born in S. Korea, adopted by a loving Italian-American family at age 3½ and raised in a small, non-diverse town on Long Island, NY. Longing for more diversity, she went to Washington, DC, where she received her Bachelors in International Development from The American University and launched her career in nonprofit management (with emphasis on capacity building/technical assistance, program development and implementation, training, volunteer management and fundraising). She volunteered with a mentor program for Korean-adoptees, ages 3-5, and their families called Chingoo and began participating in adult-adoptee activities. She moved to the Bay Area in the summer of 2005 and currently works for the local chapter of a national healthcare nonprofit. She eagerly immersed herself in the Bay Area’s transracial adoptee/mixed heritage communities by joining AKA-SF, volunteering with Pact Adoption Alliance and serving on the board of iPride. Victoria’s two older sisters (Rose and Christina) are her parents’ biological daughters. Rose has three children (2 daughters and 1 son) adopted from Korea, Christina has three biological daughters and her cousin, Fran, has a daughter adopted from China. Victoria is passionate about working and connecting with the transracial adoption community.
